Each year I help make a VIPP video for our Fur Ball auction. This beloved animal rescue on Vashon has been where I have put a lot of my energy over the last 15 years. This year, my friend and filmmaker, Julie Sotomura, created this video and used a song that my parter Pete Droge and I wrote, called Skeleton Crew. She really captured the love that VIPP has for its animals and its community. She also captured how animals can be so comforting in times like these.
This year, I am the coordinator for VIPP’s on line auction which is going on now through Oct 24th at 9:00PM. We will really miss our usual big event of the year where 300 animal lovers pile into a venue to celebrate and raise money for VIPP.
